well not even that – 5 more mornings till we can turn off the alarms for TWO WHOLE WEEKS!! (I’m including getting up for Saturday morning sport here – my brain isn’t quite that dead!)
I love school holidays.
I hate long school terms.
Eleven weeks.
And we have THREE of the fuckers this year.
Someone wake me when it’s Christmas!
Home schooling doesn’t seem like such a bad idea when you get to the end of a long school term and are facing tired and cranky kids each morning.

I have a love/hate thing going with school holidays these days. Love them because I get to work less hours while the schoolies are on the roster, hate them because I’m working less hours so less money next payday. It’s also a little irritating that when I am working, there’s all the new so-very-young faces, all perky and cheerful, making me feel oh-so-old.
I can hear you counting the seconds from here, B ! lol
