Screw Up Tuesday on Wednesday

Because screw ups aren’t limited to Tuesday’s you know! lol

We did a doozy last week. Forgot PSLS’s licence was due for renewal on Sunday!  EEEK! That’s a bit of a problem when your licence is your livelihood!

We got it sorted………. despite having to beg, borrow and steal to do it.

Then we got ripped off when we were all lined up to crew a hazard reduction burn in our area on Monday (do you know how unusual it is for BOTH of us to have a free day on the same day when the kids are all at school and there is no need for a babysitter?) and it rained over the weekend making it too wet to burn *shrugs* that happens, but now they want to do the burn the week following Easter – yup. The week we are moving. During school holidays. Not impressed!

And all those parent/teacher interviews that I was meant to do yesterday afternoon that were going to take me the better part of 3 hours? Had to cancel the lot after two of my kids came down with stomach bugs. though I have to say that I was quite relieved about that. I can now do them spread out over a few days at the start of next term. Phew.

Lastly we have TJ curling up on the lounge yesterday while sick  to watch a dvd with ‘teddies’ (his comfort blanket) and his ghecko

which promptly hide in the lounge cushions. Fortunately a calm mum, discerning eyes and quick hands saved the day!

But I don’t think any of those quite compares to Widdle Shamrock up-ending her breaky all over her laptop yesterday morning leaving it completely munted! Though she did get a brand spanking new one out of the deal…….. or maybe it’s just brand new and she has to let Mr S spank her………. I dunno, but she has a new one at any rate! lol
