I’ve read 20 of them, although if you count the Harry Potters and the Faraway Tree ones as individual books that would add quite a few to the tally. I read most of the Enid Blyton’s before I was 10, including her Secret Seven and Famous Five series. There’s a lot on your list that I haven’t read and I may just copy/paste/print and take the list to the library and see what they can find for me.

I have to say, I haven’t read much in the last few years, but perhaps I will shortly. I retire inside of two years from now. I plan on writing a bit more, but to I want to get back to reading.

Some of the books you listed I have read, such as 6, 8, 41, 52, 72. I’ve read other not listed.

    James’s last blog post..Beauty

This list is a dream come true. I’m in love with BBC version movies and just finished reading sense and sensibility and was at a loss as to what to read next! BUT now I have my answer. I hope someday to have read this whole list!
