My niece’s christening was meant to be on Sunday. My sis in law didn’t even bother inviting her mother, but her husband stupidly thoughtfully did. When she rang up to RSVP she told SIL A that she’d be bringing over some of her things and would like to pick up all the ski gear. Some of this ski gear was bought for SIL A when she was still at home and is hers, so they weren’t getting that, but she didn’t give a rats arse about the rest of it.
Nephew E got quite sick last week. So sick that by the end of the week he was in hospital with suspected salmonella poisoning on a drip and iv antibiotics so SIL A decided to put off the christening. And rightly so.
When she rang her mother to tell her……… brace yourselves……… MILILFS was only concerned that she couldn’t pick up the ski gear.
Didn’t give a shit about her grandson being that sick.
And she wonders why some of her children want nothing to do with her……..
*rolls eyes*
Edited to add – E is fine now btw. He had a great couple of days in hospital with nurses and doctors doting on him. The little bugga!
